A printing technique using a mesh based stencil to apply ink onto a substrate, whether it be T shirts, posters, stickers, vinyl or other material.

The design is imposed on a screen of nylon, with blank areas coated with an impermeable substance. Ink is forced into the mesh openings using a squeegee. When the screen is moved away the ink remains on the substrate creating the design.

One colour is printed at a time, so several screens can be used to produce a multi-coloured image or design.

Due to advances in technology there are now other options available for getting your logo and message across. Embroidery is one option that is hard wearing and allows the use of many colours in your design at no extra cost. This is because prices are based on stitch count rather than quantity of colours.
